Very good but underrated pending UFA options

Team: 2019-20 Custom Team
Initial Creation Date: May 29, 2020
Published: May 29, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Starting between the pipes:

-Aaron Dell: he played for an awful team in SJ but still managed to look good. Maybe 1-2 years at 2,25 mil per?
Good fits for him:
BUF, their biggest need IMO is a guy who can help Ullmark
MTL, they need a backup who can win games unlike what Kinkaid or Lindgren have shown us in 19-20
WIN, Brossoit sucks and Hellebyuck could use some help
FLA, Bob really needs a capable backup
WSH, he could be a nice fit behind Samsonov
DET, he could be a good option behind Bernier who was very good this year

Brian Elliott: he's a bit better than Dell IMO. Didn't have the greatest save% but he's still a reliable goalie
Good fits for him:
WSH, he could be a decent mentor for Samsonov
Philly: he could just stay where he currently and help Hart
EDM, Koskinen could really use a better 1B goalie than Smith who's gonna retire IMO

Thomas Greiss: just had 2 had his 3 best years in his whole career with the Isles. With Sorokin likely coming over, there won't be room for Greiss
SJ: they could REALLY use some better help than Dell for Jones
EDM, he could be a very good 1A/1B with Koskinen
VAN, if Markstrom decides to leave he could be a very good option to help out and mentor Demko

Now, the defense

Dimitry Kulikov: he's still a decent number 5 guy... maybe a 1 year, 2,25 mil per deal?
Good fits for him:
SJ, if there's a CBO and they use theirs on Vlasic he could help out Ferraro and Simek
WIN, they could use a stopgap like him, I could very well see him stay there
BUF, if the rumor that Pilut is f*cking off to Europe he could be a very good replacement
WSH if Dillon and Gudas decide to leave he could be a nice plan B (Kempny-Carlson, Orlov-Siegenthaler, Kulikov-???)
VAN, if Tanev decides to leave he could be a nice fit there

TVR: he's a good bottom pairing D-man
Good fits for him:
TOR, on a cheap deal, he can't do worse than Ceci
SJ, if Heed walks away he's an improvement over Heed
OTT, if they want to keep JBD down which would be the best thing to do IMO he'd be a decent fit there... they could move him at the TDL for a mid pick or something like that
ANA, they could use a bit of RD help
VGK, they need RD-men

Andrej Sekera: still a decent bottom paring guy who'll likely cost less than something like 1,5 mil per
Good fits for him:
NYR, we could really some LD help and if we want to keep K'andre Miller down Sekera would be a great fit IMO
SJ, worse than Kulikov but still better than nothing
BUF, again, decent Pilut replacement
VAN, their blueline always gets injured, he'd be a decent fit there

Radko Gudas: big physical, shutdown guy
Good fits for him:
TOR, they need all of the above, would be a nice stopgap there
WSH, he could just stay there
STL, if Petro leaves and they want a decent number 4 d-man Gudas is the man to «replace» Petro on the PK

And lastly, the forwards

Jesper Fast, super intelligent guy, plays a very good 2 way game, can't score much more than 12-15 tho
Good fits for him:
NYR he could just stay home, we could make a room for him but making Kravstov play at LW
SJS, he could be a nice, cheapish option on their mid 6
CGY, they still need RWingers
EDM, they still need F depth, a C would be a better fit tho

Carl Soderberg: good mid 6 forward who still has two 20ish goal seasons to give
Good fits for him:
SJS, they need a guy who can remove pressure from Joe Thornton on the bottom 6 and they need depth scoring, he fills both needs
EDM, they truly need a 3C and depth scoring, he fills both needs
WIN, they still need more options at C
CGY, same as WIN, not a true 2C as they need but he could remove pressure from Ryan and Backlund
BUF, they too need help at C
CBJ: same as the above

Derick Brassard: obviously not the same as he once was but he's still a reliable bottom sixer
Good fits for him:
SJS, again, they need a 3C and depth scoring...
EDM, same
WIN, same
BUF, same
FLA, if they let bot Dadonov and Hoffman walk to cut their payroll he'd be a nice stopgap

Tomas Nosek: the perfect 4C IMO, good at both ends and capable of scoring 12 goals
Good fits for him:
SJS, he'd remove pressure from Joe's shoulders
BOS, if they let Nordstrom go he could form a great 4th line with Kuraly and one of Wagner or Bjork
EDM, if Sheahan walks he'd be the perfect replacement, tho Haas could fit well too
NYR, we need to upgrade our defensive structure and he could help with that

Matt Nieto: great bottom sixer, fast, good at both ends
Good fits for him:
SJS, again, they need depth scoring and they know each other so...
VAN, if Toffoli leaves he could fill some of the offense left behind by him

Johan Larsson: great 4C, great at both ends, can still produce some offense
NYR: as previously stater we need to upgrade our defensive structure (first let's fire Ruff) and he'd help a lot with that, especially if Fast leavs
BUF, he could just stay where he currently is
TOR, if Kerfoot gets moved Larsson could «replace» him

So that's it, it was just a list of depth options I like a lot

Good to see that Carl Soderberg is getting some recognition. Guy is super underrated and constant

Another guy I'd argue should be on here is Craig Smith. He doesn't get talked about a lot, but he's a perennial 20 goal guy, puts up respectable numbers in limited minutes, and most of his production comes at 5v5. As long as the contract is fair, he'd be a good add.

Yep, liked him when he was in Boston and good to see he bounced back after that disastrous season (for him and the team) in '16-17 with COL.

And for Nosek, he's an okay fourth liner but we don't need any of those, we have several young players that can play on the 4th line (and on ELC/2W deals) so pass.

I didn't include him because I'm pretty sure he's resigning in NSH

Some GM is going to offer Gudas 4.5 or more per year and it'll look like Gudbranson real quick.

Erik Haula is one id throw in. Last 3 years his P/GP puts him at a 25g/25A player. Can play C/W, solid in the dot and good defensivley.

Radko Gudas: big physical, shutdown guy

Gudas is a smaller defense man. He's 6' generously.

I don't know how you got big and physical.
Goonish yes, big....no.
