Description
I don’t think buffalo will trade him. Just a response to a comment I saw. Just for fun. Would this do it? I included Skinner because I still believe he can be a 30-40 goal scorer. As well it would be an incentive for buffalo to trade Eichel if they could also get rid of skinners contract.

How brave of you to say that you think Jeff Skinner, who has seasons of 40, 37, 33, 31, 28, 24 and 20 goals can score goals at age 28 years and 14 days old.

Bruins dont want Skinner and his crappy deal.

But he isnt worth 9 million.
Same reason people are trying to tell me John Moore is a cap dump, but in Skinners case its actually true.

Well thats rude, bruins underpay, but its certainly close: A top 15/10 NHL dman, a top 6 Center, two firsts and a good prospect for Eichel and a cap dump (hes good, but not worth 9 million at all)

Just say "good point"

Clearly I wasnt comparing them skillwise - but contract wise yes they are comparable

Why would any UFA agree to that? Sometimes you'll see guys rights traded, for a 6th or something, but pending UFAs are not valuable trade chips.

Yeah noway in hell Krug does a sign and trade with Buffalo for 7 x 7 he'll get way more on the open market. He either stays in Boston or comes home to Detroit there's no in between there.

True Krejci is still a great center. Think he would fetch more than a 2nd rounder. A 2nd is a start.

Boys he literally said bruins won’t do it anyways lol
They would never trade Krug if they just signed him, this trade would never happen
Bruins underpay value wise (as he said), but don’t accept it peice-wise (just signed Coyle and this would mean, as he said, a Krug sign and trade)

The first issue is that if Krug is signing an extension there will likely be some no trade protection at the very least, and he’s not going to buffalo willingly.

Second problem is it’s quantity over quality and that’s not usually a concept that works. I think this is very far off. It looks like you’re trying to give up a whole bunch of pieces that wouldn’t really sting. Thinking this would happen without at least the teams top prospect is a bit bananas.

I think it would need one of the two good prospects, debrusk, a young roster d man, and the two firsts.
