Thanks for your feedback!

I'm curious as to why you think Columbus wouldn't like it?

I figure that Columbus aren't exactly in a good position with Anderson due to previous negotiation issues and him only having 1 year of RFA status left; whilst Savard is a pending UFA. This trade gives them a good 'out' in both regards, by acquiring young players that can help their roster immediately; along with a couple of good picks that also fills a need given their shortage of picks.

Just put together a package for Josh Anderson and leave out all the Jenner-Savard/Compher-Cole stuff. Recoup some of the draft capital by trading Zadorov to a team like Carolina.

What do you think Josh Anderson would cost Colorado?

Guessing any conversation with Jarmo starts with him asking for a 1st. Prior to this year’s 72 point outburst JT Miller had production similar to Anderson’s career high of 47 points and he cost Vancouver a 1st+
But then there’s the shoulder issue. Tough to say.

A 2nd and Jost would for sure get you Anderson, might be a bit steep though for the Avs

Agree. Jarmo definitely starts by asking for a 1st, but Sakic won't do that. It's tough to evaluate Anderson as he only has 1 more year of RFA status and will likely want to be paid for his 27 goal season rather than the injury-ravaged season he just had.

Jost + 2nd would indeed be a bit steep. Maybe a 2nd + B prospect would be more fair, or alternatively Jost + 3rd which is the valuation I used in this trade.
