I mean idk how good nick wolf is as a prospect, but id rather just trade Moore for a 7th and keep the prospect.

I think Krug could get more.

Also, what would happen if DeBrusk got an OS for 3m+?

Considering LA's need for LHD I imagine they only trade for Moore with that incentive.

Offer sheets aren’t a thing. There’s a reason Penner was the last guy to get lost to a legit offer sheet. But, the bruins match. Duh.

Even though debrusk isn’t consistent he will still end up with $3. Could give him and grzelcyk 3.25 and krug 8 since ya got the money for it. Give Bjork a few more sheckles may as well

I think the Bruins will want more term for Grzelcyk, and Grzelcyk will definitely want more money. I think Debrusk has to get more too.

I just flatly do not understand why I see these ACGMs giving Bjork such big contracts. The guy set a career high with 19 points in like 60 games this year. All of a sudden he’s worth 1.9? No. He gets 1 year, maybe 2, at a million bucks. He has shown promise, but has not earned a big raise.

What on earth could possibly lead a fan of the NHL to think Bjork should get more than that? Cut that 1.9 in half.

Trust me, you’re not alone. I’ve seen him get up to 2.5 from some bruins fans, it’s nutty.

Overall this is a very realistic look at the bruins future.

I don't see what's so good bout him to them. Gives me Vesey Vibes.

He certainly does show promise, but promise doesn’t pay the bills. He’ll need a full NHL season before getting a substantial raise.

?? If they NEED a LHD, that increases Moores value, so its the exact opposite actually

Acquiring Nick Wolff is the incentive? they need young players not overpaid 7th defenseman....

John Moore is a top 6 Nhl defenseman. The only reason he isnt getting top 6 minutes is because he was hurt for most of the season and beacsue the bruins have Chara, Krug, and Griz, all top 4 nhl dmen on the LHD side.
So if they NEED a LHD, john moore for a 4th should work. No "incentive" needed. If not. Then bruins do Moore for a 7th because they dont care.

He has said he will take a discount to stay in Boston, he will probably get less, but could MAYBE get this much. Certainly not more though

They probably add a cheap UFA option rather than a guy with 3Y/$2,75M cap hit.

I dispute the statement where you believe John Moore Is anything more than a serviceable 7th defenseman.

Then you are wrong unfortunately. Thats like saying Evgeni Malkin isnt a top tier cetner because he plays on the second line. (of course Malkin and moore are not comparable, but you should get my point, Moore isnt a "7th dman" just because he plays 7th dman minute, he is still a very capable top 6 dman)

Like idk what else to say, he is factually a top 6 NHL defenseman who just missed most of this year due to a very real injury and is stuck behind 3 top 4 LHD on the Bruins.

Thats what it will take to get Krug. He could get more in Detroit.

Everything else looks good. Lauzon is a stud.

You did ask what bruins fans thought, and he told you (and correctly so).
Bruins wouldn’t accept this, they have no reason to. They would give up an unsigned prospect (imagine if they had traded Krug and Andrew Ference for a 4th back when Krug was an undrafted rookie
