I think my favorite part is you adding buffalos 4th. like there was some part in your delusion that thought it was too good a trade for buffalo by a smidge.

Hard to gauge what anybody's worth with all the hype and drama, but what do y'all think?

I'd stay off of Meier due to his QO.

If he remains a 50 pointer, -20 player that QO is gonna be a huge struggle.

It's one year in a bad year. Comparing Meier's -6 to Eichel's -60 career +/-, I think the narrative shifts.

TBH, I don't think any of this is that off value wise.

Thanks. I know no one can agree on who's worth what. Best I can do is hold out hope for discourse.

Not bad but that's a LOT for Eichel. Like not that I don't think he's worth something like that, but wow that's a hefty sum. I don't think I'd have the guts to give away that many high picks.

I know the Isles need cap relief to sign Barzel, but I think that's an underpay to be honest. Everything else is decent. Cap ain't looking too good tho.

SJ has sucked for one year, Sabres have sucked the last decade.

I added an LTIR contract to cover the overage.

It is expensive, but who knows what Eichel's really worth. I kinda just went for it. Let's also not forget the addition of Collins.

Idk, man. Three 1sts, a 3rd, and Timo...? That's a huge payment for a player who is no doubt elite, but not McDavid or Draisaitl elite.

I'll be perfectly honest with you, I make a lot of these far-fetched teams out of fun or curiosity, but I don't really think Eichel is the right fit for us now if it's gonna cost us everything. Not for nothin, the dude is fantastic but we need a strong team more then a single strong center.

The Dallas and Tampa picks aren't lottery picks and San Jose will definitely be better next season. Eichel was on pace for over 90 points on a bad team and will just be turning 24 at the start of next season. He's also paid 10 million which is what Buffalo will have to pay Meier in a few years and I'm not comfortable Meier will be worth that.

at least we agree we shouldn't target Eichel in a trade, though.
