Most kids would have given up on hockey by now he didn't and he's finally getting a chance to make the NHL, proud of him.

What a crazy road to the NHL for this guy. Not an easy path, but congrats to him for making it.

The Ducks now have a lot of defensemen on one-way deals.
Lindholm - Manson
Fowler - Guhle
Djoos - Gudbranson
Hakanpaa - Curran
Larsson is RFA, then there are prospects like Mahura, who deserves a chance.

I expect some trade there (probably Gudbranson?). Lindholm, Manson and Fowler are set, but what about the rest? Larsson played a complete season in Anaheim, he was solid and he's not waivers-exempt next season. Guhle is in the same situation. Djoos was doing well after that trade. Then there's Gudbranson - everyone hates him, but he's solid 3rd pairing d-man. Hakanpaa could play in San Diego, Curran too, but that's a lot of money for AHLers...

Feel good story. I can't wait to hear about how he started playing roller hockey. Talk about finding one's game and 'never saw this coming'. What a difference to his career by moving to Europe.

If you”re gonna take a chance on a undrafted European guy, might as well do it on the SHL mvp
