Unpopular opinion but he needs to be put on the wing for a bit. Showed that he wasn't ready for C yet, and that's perfectly fine. Mackinnon played on the wing in his earlier years and look how he turned out

I can understand the reasoning behind that, but he played a number of games on the wing last year and let me tell you he was not good. things weren't great at C for him but they were significantly better than when he was on the wing.

My prediction is that Gusev has a big year, beside either Hischier or Hughes. He's going to earn himself a PAYDAY.

Lol no. Hischier is a C, good defensively, solid in the face-off dot. No reason to put him on the wing

he played most of the year with Wood, Zacha and Simmonds on his wing...

I mean he had a good year last year, shaky start and coaching staff wasn't using him right but he was lights out after the first month or 2 of the season. easily our most skilled forward, if we hire an NHL coach I believe he could be close to a ppg player
