It gives me pleasure knowing Boston could have had Barzal, Connor, Chabot.

Ya we as Bruins fans have to live with being 1 win away from a Stanley Cup Title last year, being the President Trophy winner this year and one of the favorites to win the Cup.

It's harsh, imagine already having maybe the most dominant team ever with those 3😑, and definitely not kidding to St.Luois

HUGE unknown what this team would look like. You have to consider the ripple effects that those 3 changed picks make. for example...

Every teams draft board would change, maybe Carlo isn't available with Boston's 2nd round pick
Barzal doesn't get the TOI he does in NY and doesn't develop as quickly as he has
Chabot is behind Chara and Krug and having to compete for a 3rd pairing role
Let say they do well though, the following year Boston isn't in a position to draft McAvoy
Because of the players drafted, they don't trade Coyle or sign Backes

It's a rabbit hole of possibilities and not as simple as swap these three guys and assuming nothing else changes. But lets just pretend everything is still the same...how would Boston pay all these guys? The simply wouldn't be able to.

Basically lol. Funny enough if I could switch any one pick in the 2015 draft and assume everything is the same, it wouldn't be Barzal, Chabot or Connor. It would be Brock Boeser. I say that because as the team is currently constructed, they lack that scoring RW. DeBrusk has been a solid pick and among his draft class is 11th in goals and 15th in points.

Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak
DeBrusk - Krejci - Boeser
Bjork - Coyle - Kase

^Its an interesting top 9 with Studnicka looking to make the jump next season. Boeser playing w/ Krejci could be a 35+ goal scorer and DeBrusk would see his Assist totals shoot up as well.
