if it costs Laine to acquire a second line center then it isn't worth it in my opinion

SERIOUSLY... you are not a Jets fan for sure to run this trade...
Keep Laine and reinsert Wheeler at Center that did a amazing job while some C was down in the last 2 years... actually made 91 pts that season!
Connor- Scheiffle- Laine
Ehlers- Wheelers- Roslovic

I don't know why I've seen so many posts from Jets fans wanting to trade Laine. He's drastically improved this year and he was much better in last year's playoffs. Ehlers hasn't made many strides to get better and was non-existent in both playoff years that the Jets were in. If you're going to trade a winger I would look at trading him. You'd have to look at taking away that first round pick from Chicago though as well.

If you’re a jets fan and still want to move Laine you’re most likely delusional. Definitely improved his game, I’d say he was 2x this year than last lol. I don’t think we should move any of our wingers yet tbh. We have a top 6 that is locked in for years to come, all we need to do is resign Laine and we’re locked up.

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking recently about acquiring a 2c, what it would take. My only thought would be to either move Niku, Vesa + 2020 1st for Domi. Or we can try to OS Cirelli. I think we should just sit tight, use our 1st to draft a C and promote internally. Maybe try Haula for one year? If not I think wheeler is a very satisfactory 2c.

Just run:
Connor - Scheifele - Laine
Ehlers - Wheeler - Roslovic
