It seems to me that you've got 4 prospects you can't afford to trade until you've had a real chance to evaluate them, and you're trading two of them here (Mittelstadt and Johnson).

Anaheim isn't trading 3 of its top 6 forwards, particularly if we're not getting your 2020 first.

This is a better version of the Hertl trade than I've seen lately (including my own first effort), but you should substitute Asplund/Davidsson/ Ruotsalainen.

This team would definitely be greatly improved. The issue is that after this season there would be only 2 dmen under contract and about 7 million in cap space to sign the 4 defenseman, backup goalie and asplund. Probably acquired one too many forwards. Leave one of the ducks forwards out of the deal and move Kahun to 3rd line and put Lazar on 4th line
