Letang-Marino-Mitchell would be a good 1-2-3 RD but don't see CHI moving him. The rest works.

He's behind Murphy and Boqvist, they need a goalie. They're also in a strange situation, rebuild on the fly with a couple moves needed to be a contender. Not sure if they would move him but I think it's at least in the realm of possibility

I'd be surprised if Poulin made it. I think the virus is going to affect a lot of young players trying to make the NHL this year. Not playing hockey for like 8 months then going straight into the NHL will be extremely difficult. It's already hard enough for junior kids to play their D+2 years in the NHL.

We'll see. He's past the point where the Q helps his development.

Perfect to start. He gets 12-16 mins and no pressure on him. Then he can move up to the second pair and btw, Murphy can play LD so it's not really a problem. Better to keep the young D like him and Boqvist (Beaudin/Krys as well). And I, for one, am not a big fan of Murray as he's consistently inconsistent.. would only give up a 2nd for him. Chicago is okay with Crawford-Delia/Lankinen next year

There are better options chicago could go after instead of murray includidng but not limited to any of the Isles goalies, re-signing Lehner in FA, Demko/Markstrom, among others. They moved jokiharju for Mitchell they arent trading Mitchell and what would be a high second for a goalie that has under preformed as a starter and just had a sub .900 season. They can keep crow and just draft Askarov at 9th.

You then mention how Mitchell would be stuck as a 3rd pairing but then literally keep mitchell stuck as a 3rd pairing on the pens you arent even consistent

Murray underperformed this year but he has 2 cups as a starter so that's a stretch. VAN keeps both goalies, Lehner stays with Vegas. Goalie market isn't that great other than Georgiev. The point I was making is that CHI needs a goalie more than a third pair defenseman, whereas for PIT it's a luxury they can afford...

None of what you said makes any sense. Vegas isnt going to have a 15 million goalie tandem and Vancouver cant afford to pay Markstrom what he is worth while also paying the rest of their team (toffoli, Virtannen, Tanev etc,). Try looking at a teams cap structure before talking out your butt.

Goalie market isn't great for selling teams. Goalies have become an oversaturated position you dont need an elite goalie to win and Chi could make due with a lot of other goalies out there they arent limited to Mediocre stats Murray. Chicago isnt moving Mitchell for goaltending help get a clue. Its obvious you are throwing any sense of logic out the window. Chicago could literally just re-sign crow, draft Askarov, and keep Mitchell which is a lot more beneficial to them than the awful trade you are using insane mental gymnastics to justify.

Mitchell and a 2nd is too much for a goalie that struggles to even post league average stats on a consistent basis. If you want to go down the cups rout just remember Cam Ward was incredibly clutch for Carolina then look how he ended up right after
