Talbot thinks he can be a starter so I don't know if he would want to re-sign. And almost all free agents are signing 1/2 year too much

Why did you sign Forbort to bury him

Why trade Jankowski for Paquette? Where's Valimaki? Keep the conditional pick and dont sign Forbort.

Talbot said he would be more then happy to resign in Calgary already.

Mangiapane likely signs in the range of 2.5-3.5.

You have the ability to bring back Brodie in the 4-7-5 range, rather than sign Demelo, if that interests you.

I would like to see a top 6 forward added to this group, or else it will be more of what we saw in the regular season, a team that's fighting for one of the last playoff spots.

I was considering Brodie, but I thought Dylan Demelo could be more of a long term solid player, maybe always a top 4, maybe even a top 2. I just think that Demelo can still improve where as Brodie might start to decline soon. I wouldn't be against Brodie signing though. And i agree, I was looking for a top 6 forward but its hard with cap, and if you want to trade making it so that the other team accepts, because top 6 forwards are obviously very valuable. You have anyone in mind?

Forbort would be a 7th or 8th man, I just don't have the scratches displayed here.

IMO Paquette would be a lot better than Jankowski, and Valimaki would be a 7th or 8th man on D, so probably a healthy scratch, I just don't have that displayed here.

Is Paquette though? Jankowski only cost 100k more to sign and isnt a pending UFA, both would be playing the same role on the 4th line.

Valimaki is significantly better then Gus and Kylington, zero chance hes healthy scratched

I guess it depends on how fit Valimaki is at the beginning of the season as at the moment he is still injured and recovering, it depends how fit he is. And yes, I do think Paquette would be a lot better than Jankowski, an at times Jankowski has even said he wants out of Calgary, so if Paquette was cool coming to Calgary it could be better chemistry among teammates and just having a person that's actually happy being here.
