This is horrible for Chicago. Also rossi, Raymond and perfetti won't be their at the Chicago pick. Maybe not even holtz

I see now that the exact deal minus the 1st round pick is more suitable

It's still a pretty good trade even if you leave out that 1st, due to DeBrincat's upside. But I'm not sure Colorado would want Strome and Nylander. Nylander blocks Kaut, and Strome would need to get flipped anyways. Maybe something just around DeBrincat for Newhook+ would work better.

Well at least one of the five players I mentioned will be there, given that Lafreniere, Byfield, Stutzle and Drysdale will go before No.9.

If someone likes Lundell or Sanderson enough it's even possible that 2-3 of the players I mentioned may fall to No.9.

It would hardly be surprising if 1-2 of them would fall a few picks given that each year there's always someone falling, like last year when players like Zegras, Krebs, Caufield, and Newhook fell below where they were expected to be taken.

Nylander and Jost probably "cancels" out in terms of value which leaves w/ Graves and Newhook for DeBrincat, Strome and 2020 9OA. Bad trade for the Hawks. Both Newhook (ton a potential but no guarantee he can pan out - he can either become Clayton Keller or Colin White/Tyson Jost) and Ryan Graves had a suprising season (i.e. first good season) have good value but they aren't worth a proven elite goal scorer (consistent 50+ pts players w/ a 40 goal season), a good center in Dylan Strome (also 50pt players since he left Arizona) and 9th overall pick in a deep draft.

In what world does Chicago agree to this?

    I don't think they would.

I was simply using this AGM as a response to an AGM made by a Chicago fan to illustrate what things would look like on Colorado's side of things, based on a trade from the other AGM. That AGM has since been deleted though, presumably because the guy who made it realised that it was a lopsided trade.
