  1. 2020 1st round pick (BUF)
Additional Details:
Buffalo needs help now. They have a superstar who is tired of losing (and they are not trading him anytime soon). But Cozens can't be expected to be an immediate contributor right away. Strome gives them a 2C that they can plug in right away and let Cozens develop naturally.

  3. 2020 1st round pick (NYR)

I think Buffalo would rather have Lundell considering he's pretty NHL ready and fits their needs

Strome ain't a 2C, any player Buffalo drafts at 7OA or earlier would be better than Strome in less than a year. This would make Eichel demand a trade, everyone (including GMs) know Strome got carried by Panarin last season

I presume that this trade would be contingent upon the draft spots essentially identical to current.
If either team moved down while the other remained steady, I would presume that would kill the trade.

So moving down from the 7th to 13th is only a little more valuable than Buffalo's second.
If we removed Rykov it would make it closer to Buffalo's second.

Would the Rangers accept Buffalo's 2nd for Strome, probably not.
As a Sabres fan, I would give up a 2nd for Strome, unless there was a better center available.

If you were to offer a different prospect instead of Rykov, as Buffalo's defense is young and has several defense-men prospects at least as good as Rykov, I think we have a deal.

It's weird how you choose Radim Samek when you clearly meant Ryan Merkley....
