That doesn't get you Jonas Brodin, And to your 2nd thread fat chance of Brodin signing fo 5x5 try more like 5x6.5 minimally.

I’d be worried about giving up that many first round picks and prospects. Buffalo isn’t close to the playoffs, let alone the cup.

(REALLY like the name of this tho)

Thank God. At the prices you Sharks guys claim are fair, you'd think he's the second Leon Draisaitl, when he isn't even the first Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.

These trades all seem surprisingly anti-Buffalo to me. Last year's first (Johnson) and this year's second should be enough for the rental of Brodin. Montour should get you Alex Tuch from Las Vegas, particularly when you consider their cap situation (they can't afford to pay only draft picks for him). And I reiterate my conviction that San Jose has to add to get your 2020 first in return for Tomas Hertl. I'm not saying that the seventh overall pick is guaranteed, or even likely, to turn into the next Mark Scheifele (taken seventh overall in 2011), but you don't need that when you have Jack Eichel. All you need is for that pick to turn into the next Sean Monahan (taken 6th) or Bo Horvat (taken 9th) and your team is a playoff contender.
