For me its Arizona and Vancouver. Both are getting back their best/most-valuable players(this season) in Kuemper and Markstrom

Side note, given how well they've come out the gates the last few seasons, would Buffalo had been primed for a decent run given the break if they hadve made it?

Columbus definitely benefits a lot from the time to get healthy.

True. But they've been a bit of a cog in the tortz machine, next man up lineup throughout the season. They've kept in rolling. Canucks and Yotes are very different teams with the one change.

Yeah. I guess another team that benefits a lot (but to a lesser extent than VAN & ARI) would be PIT, since they get Guentzel back.

Carolina. You get your best RHD back for playoffs. Hope that broken leg doesn't permanently decrease his play

it helps any of the teams that were going to have some guys out for a while: tampa with stamkos and hedman both banged up, carolina with dougie and maybe even pesce, columbus with jones, Arizona with kuemper, vancouver with boeser and markstrom, Pitt with guentzel, bruins with krug and carlo who were both banged up, avs had makar and mackinnon both banged up at the beginning of march. Its almost a clean slate for most teams. Everyone getting months off to rest and rehab is huge. Most teams will be 100% healthy or close to it going into the playoffs which realistically never happens.

Aside from the obvious injury recoveries, it likely helps teams like Dallas that were on a huge losing streak at the break; I believe they were at 6 or 7 straight games without a win. The break could allow them to get out of the funk they were in. A couple of more losses would've caused them drop out of the top 4 and participate in the play-in round. Now they have the opportunity to go into the top 4 round robin and potentially get a much better seeding than their regular season points would have originally allowed them.
