Burns has pretty low value right now. You'd have to retain considerably and even then a 1st in unlikely.

I think this deal is not bad. Its a lot of salary for us to take back though. 12.5 mil and 6 in near useless players. I say dont include Roussel or atleast Bury him and Beagle

Yeah, who doesn't want a 35 year old whose been staving off regression for years coming off a terrible season signed to a bonus heavy contract that pays 8 mil for 5 more years. Definitely selling high in him.

Yeah he does. He's 35 and his current contract will walk him into the retirement home. That contract is a massive red flag to the point I would be shocked if anyone ever traded for him.

“Coming off a terrible season” yet somehow he’s out scored every defenseman in Toronto, and would be the fourth highest scorer on your team lol. At age 34 he had 83 points in 82 games, 3rd on your team and only five behind 11million forward Tavares (6 yrs younger) Yeah I’d say he’s really struggling To ”stave off regression” derp.

I'm not sure you understand what I said. If you had, you wouldn't have replied this way.

Pls get learned on anglish.

And points are far from the only way to measure a season, especially when there is a 50% drop off for him. Think before you react emotionally

Thanks for ignoring Burns' "three team to be traded too" M NTC . He's retired on the West Coast like so many when they get their big contracts, Burns, Classic, Karslsson, Doughty, Kopitar, OEL...not moving and not tradable.
