    I think i might be able to pull it off next season, Cap ceiling will rise plus Phil Kessel contract expires. Thats like 4 million extra right there.

    Hamilton has had just one superior NHL season. To pay him in the top three NHL Dman....unwise. As suggested above it ruins the cap for the following season, and really the line-up with Hamilton doesn't look that good either.
    What's so special about the magical position of RHD. Kings and Sharks are kicking themselves for signing Doughty and Karlsson to long term deals. The much beloved on. CF Seth Jones, has one playoff round win in his career. Really think Hamilton is going make a difference?
