Prudential to Barclays Center isn't that far and Prudential to Nassau isn't terrible; Boychuk might not even have to move depending on where he/his family live. Plus he would probably get the same/ more ice time with the Devils. I can see him considering it. The only major question would be if he is okay playing on a rebuilding team compared to the islanders.

I honestly can’t see it, which is part of the reason trading him is so hard and the Isles are in such a bind this offseason. 8 team trade list, so undoubtedly there are teams it will work with. Whether or not Lou & Co can find the deal is another thing. I personally like this one though. Bellows is still a wild card imo and moving down 32 spots in the draft isn’t the end of the world for me
