The Bruins have depth but depending on what happens with chara and krug they may want to hold onto him. He isn't anything special but they know he can play if needed.

It's not a bad deal, but there just isn't a lot of Depth D in Boston right now. I don't think they can afford to take this deal given the state of their D corp right now. They are more looking to add D than trade it away.

Any of those 4 fit in the bottom pair. Grez would slide up to 2nd pair if Krug doesn’t sign (which he will). Vaak and Lauzon will be top 4 Pairing. Moore gets a lot of flack but he is actually a solid defenseman.

Rather just keep Clifton. Make it a 3rd for Clifton and its something Boston has to think about.
