I like some of this but I'd even say sign Dermott for 925k 1 year and sign Larsson over Brassard.

Not sure about Sandin as 7th D man... hes at least 3 pair starter.

Engvall is not being dealt either.

You can't OS Cernak if you resign Clifford, there's a condition on the pick

I don't think Cirelli will sign any offer sheet for less than $6 million. Any lesser figure and he'll just take whatever Tampa offers.

Don't deal Engvall. He is 23, one of our best penalty killers and has already proven himself a 30 pt~ bottom-6 player. Keep him around, he'll be good.

Just keep Engvall instead of Clifford. It's literally that easy.

Tampa would match that offer and then trade him if they need be. They couldn't NOT get a better offer than the Leafs 2nd round pick.

What if Tampa's offer is only 3ish million?
You think he wont sign say 5 million AAV deal with another team?

Tampa's ability to match will depend on Cirelli and Sergachev too.

Not else they match a Cirelli or Sergachev offer sheet instead.
I think 2 of their RFAs are leaving at least.

Tampa will be in tough to trade their players with NTC.
How many assets are they gonna part with?

I think he and/or his agent will say We have this offer for $5 million and Tampa will say Okay, we'll match that.

Don't see how Tampa can match 5 IMO.

As long as they're under the cap when the puck drops it's all good. They can be as over as they want until then. So if they feel they can get more via trade, they'll sign them all.

Honestly, they have so many options available to them it is impossible to say. If (big IF) Cernak is the one they decide they're parting with, AND the best offer is a 2nd + two 3rds... then I'd have to think they'd take it, but I can't imagine that being the case.
