    I think the capitals match that fairly quickly. They will make moves to keep Vrana.

    I really don't think that top line should ever be a top line. Suzuki and Caufield are overhyped. Nick looks like the makings of a strong 2C, but not a 1C. Caufield is Hoffman 2.0... also a 2nd liner at best. Same story with Domi. Just a weak look to have them run the top line.

    I'd rather keep a modified version of that third line as #1.

    Habs should look to trade for an elite player at one point in the next few years. I can't say that any of these guys belong to the elite category. You got yourself three 2nd lines.

    The entire top 9 is 50 point players. If even a couple turn into 60-70 point players in a couple seasons you have a very deep and good playoff team.

    50 point players are still 2nd liners. You just restated what I said... you got 3 2nd lines. And if they get less ice time I can see them getting even less. I don't think many of these players here will be multi-year 60-70 point guys unless some more moves happen
