Value on the PJ trade is really far off. Maybe make the 2nd a 4th and a 5th.

Cut Neal on the Turris deal and it's fine, but you can't expect to get rid of Neal for anything less then a severe overpayment.

Well we’re not getting rid of his contract we’re just swapping it for a contract that’s slightly worse with the extra 250k and an extra year but at a position that helps us more vs a 3rd line PP specialist winger.

You realize that Turris's contract is significantly better then Neal's?

A fair deal could look like:

Turris (1m retained) + 4th for Neal + Puljujarvi

I’m confused how you think his contract is better. It’s one year longer, he had the same point production with 10 less goals and Neal played 7 less games.

But his is faster and plays the Center position which is more valuable in the NHL

I wouldn’t consider giving Neal away for turris. Neal started the year red hot looked like 30 was doable but got hurt and couldn’t get back up to speed before holland brought in ennis and AA. I have no reason to believe he won’t put up another 2 or 3 years of 20-25 goals if put in position to do so. Detroit could very much use a veteran with his shooting ability not saying will save the power play but definitely upgrade it. Or Ottawa both teams have the cap space and can play him in the top six and pp. I’d only move Neal if it’s for full cap relief and as long as don’t need to add to it otherwise just be happy it’s not nearly as bad as Lucic.

OTT passes, not enough to take on a dead weigh Dman OTT has no room for.
