Absolutely horrid for the Leafs. Trading Mattnews for Stone just to save 2.6m...poor long term value for the Leafs.

There is just no way to trade Matthews without ****ing yourself so hard. The single hardest thing to find in hockey is an elite centre and Matthews on-top of being one is also 22 and the best goal scorer at 5v5 in the game. You just don't trade that. Ever. Under any circumstances
