Debrincat, Strome and Murphy ($1M retained = $2.8M cap hit) for Nylander, Johnsson, and Robertson.

Yeah man ... Kapanen, Hyman, Mikheyev, Dermott and Andersen have no value at all.

Toronto couldn't even give them away ... am I right my brotha?

That's a fair offer, in the end I'll take the risk that Robertson becomes DeBrincat calibre player, not all that interested in Strome, I do like Murphy for the Leafs but not at the cost in this proposal - I'll counter with Kerfoot, Johnsson and Liljegren for Strome and Murphy

No can do. Strome is better then Kerfoot obviously. Murphy is a lot better then Liljegren, and Johnsson was on pace for 15 goals and coming off of a season ending knee injury requiring surgery with a $3.4M cap hit...he's not worth his cap or the risk which is why in the original proposal I had him in there as more of a negative value that the Leafs need to dump him for cap space.

Murphy for Kap is fair value, but I want Nylander to play with his brother. Cat plus Murphy for Nylander and Johnsson (to free up cap)?

Anderson has 1 year left coming off a down year, I'd rather OS Mikheyev it would probably be cheaper, Kapanen, Dermott, and Hyman are worth maybe a 3rd each, so ya they don't have much value

If Cap space needs to be freed up Johnsson can be moved for a song, my post is currently under the cap

Nylander is very close to my untouchable list - if I was to move Nylander for help on D Hawks don't have what I'd be looking for. As for Strome better than Kerfoot yes he is, he'll also cost around 5 million and I really have no use for him as our Top 6. Is pretty setup and Kerfoot is perfectly fine 3C

Strome will get a bridge deal for around $4M give or take $250K. If the Leafs wanted to roll 3 lines, Strome, Cat and Kap would be a very dangerous 3rd line, which is why we'll do Kap for Murphy and call it a day! smile

Kapanen, Dermott, and Hyman are worth maybe a 3rd each, so ya they don't have much value

So you're saying:

0.54 points per game @ $1,800,000 x 2 years = Blake Coleman (28) = Traded for a 1st + 1st
0.38 points per game @ $1,000,000 x 2 years = Barclay Goodrow (27) = Traded for a 1st

But these guys:

0.73 points per game @ $2,200,000 x 2 years = Zach Hyman (27) = Only worth a 3rd
0.54 points per game @ $3,200,000 x 3 years = Kap Kapanen (23) = Only worth a 3rd

Not to mention that they're basically the toughest and best defensive forwards on the Leafs.
Or that they both kill penalties while getting virtually zero power-play time to pad their stats.
Or that Kapanen is 4-5 years younger than the rest and expires as an RFA in three years.

They're both worth more than a 1st and you should apologize for your ignorance.
