1.
EDM
  1. Mittelstadt, Casey [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
There have been back and forth on weather this is a fair trade or not. I’m going to say it is close enough. Oilers might add a low level prospect or pick but I think it’s pretty close.
BUF
  1. Puljujärvi, Jesse [Reserve List]
2.

  1. 2021 3rd round pick (LAK)
  2. 2021 6th round pick (LAK)

Additional Details:
This I’m not quite sure of but I figure there might be some interest for a power play specialist.

Maybe? Truthfully my brain assumes all rfa’s are ‘young’ and all UFA’s are ‘old’. But your probably right.

The Kings don't need depth. They have tons of depth. There's a logjam at bottom-six forward and bottom-pairing defense. Even the goaltending pipeline is deeper than it has ever been.

The problem is that they don't have a lot of top-end talent. After Kopitar and Doughty, the dropoff is immense. There's help coming in the form of Vilardi, Turcotte, Kaliyev, Bjornfot, etc., but it's going to take them several years before they're up to speed.

Honestly, the 3rd and 6th round picks are more valuable to the Kings right now then the two players you're offering.

Ya I didn’t really think a lot about the team. Just any team who wants them.

The trade makes sense, Mitts for Puljujarvi. Im just worried Puljujarvi sees he was traded to Buffalo and elects to stay in Finland

I think Krueger will first need to call Puljujarvi, and then make an trade.

Also Ristolainen, If he is not content in Buffalo, I bet he would tell Puljujarvi to stay away

AA has to do a lot more before I’d pencil him in next to mcdavid. I have a lot more questions about his game than his skating makes up for. I’m personally not a fan of him hopefully I’m proven wrong. I like the JP trade but wouldn’t do it because I’d want a veteran there. Not to mention JP wants a shot at a top six role. I think he would sign and show up but if can’t give him a fair shot at that role it might not be worth making the deal for one year of JP.
