I mean I like Schmidt, he was one of the best defensemen in the 2018 playoffs imo but this is a crazy deal for him.

Avs have no need for Johnsson. We have enough bottom 6ers as it is. There's better ways to spend $3.4m.

That said, I would be interested in Kapanen due to his PK skill.
