They need another LHD, Bryson can take Mccabes spot in 21-22.

    make the team better ofc

    Morrissey-Ristolainen
    Samberg-Pionk
    Niku-Poolman
looks respectable (Ristolainen gets alot of hate but really think he could flourish here) like Pionk

Annnd a 7th overall pick on a stacked draft for chevy to work his magic (snag a 2nd line center) 3 years ELC

think Harkins is ready for the jump to top 6 (or even Vesa)

There's plenty of dmen available in free agency, no need to trade arguably their best forward this season for one and no Harkins nor Vesalainen are ready for top 6 roles, Vesalainen is looking like a bust and Harkins while looking okay some nights is far from what Ehlers is, he outscored Laine and Wheeler at even strength and was within a point or two of Scheiffele and Connor and he was up there with some of the top talents in the league, do we really think Harkins is at that level? lol

A 1st round pick is still a couple years away, it wouldn't interest me as a Jets fan, I think Chevy should be trading the Jets 1st for an established 2C if there's a deal like that out there but I don't think there is.
If Chevy was so good at 'working his magic' they wouldn't be constantly bereft of center depth.

Chevy is good at drafting.. we would get a damn good player at 7th (2020 is just stacked)
he goes for best player available all the time.. just never was a center :/

your missing something here.. the jets have a young core with alot of time left, a 7th overall pick in a 2015 comparable draft would be insane, with the jets draft record your easily looking at a player better than Ehlers and for the next decade +... Ristolainen a top 4 defense where the jets need help the most is icing on the cake

No I'm not missing anything, Ehlers is young and part of that core but one thing Scheiffele isn't young anymore, there isn't time to waste, they need to add another good center ASAP, not two or more years from now. If the Jets 1st could get them Domi signed long term they should do it.

They don't need help the most on D, what they need is another option at center cause **** sakes did they ever miss Little this season, wonder if all his detractors see now how important he was cause man Copp just doesn't get it done and Wheeler is too old to play center. The Jets other pressing need is to improve the bottom 6, having a 3rd line that doesn't produce and a 4th line that's non existent just doesn't work, seriously the Jets bottom 6 is amongst the least productive in the league, not much better then some of the worst teams in the league, pathetic!
