Description
I’m putting a few ideas out there for different things I have seen on this site.
Just curious to put them all out there and see what it would do to the team

I know late and mid round picks will most likely need to be added to even out value and my signing of RFA’s might be a little off but let me know.

The players that are scratched are in position battles or contract concerns that I’m not 100% confident in putting in the line up;
Carlson I think would be a great 5/6 defensemen but we need some veterans who can play to keep the team afloat
Beaudin I think will be a top 4 d man but I’m not sure if he is ready yet. He will be a better NHL then AHL player
Pool party I just don’t know enough about his contract wants and what he can do. He would slot on that top line well or on the third just depending on what he wanted to do and his defensive capability
Highmore is a great defensive 13th forward I do think Havel beats him out for a consistent spot.

This lineup and offseason gives us just short of 4.5 cap space so that we could even eat a potential UFA contract for another good prospect at the deadline. Or sign a bigger name goalie or winger next year in free agency.

    CHI
    1. 2020 3rd round pick (CBJ)
    Additional Details:
I think Sikura should be enough to a rebuilding team for us to move on from the salary of Smith as well. This is a hard trade to make in my opinion because Smith does have value but the hawks can’t afford him and the team needs to turn to youth right now.
    3.
    CHI
    1. Howden, Brett
    2. 2021 2nd round pick (NYR)
    Additional Details:
I have seen this trade on multiple AGM’s and no one fights it to much. I think if this is a legit offer from the rangers then the hawks would sprint to take it.
    4.
    CHI
    1. Puljujärvi, Jesse [Reserve List]
    2. 2020 1st round pick (EDM)
    Additional Details:
This is another hard trade to make but Puljujarvi was originally compared to Benn, if he can be Saad then this trade is a slam dunk.
We may need to add a second but I saw two other AGM’s that including this years first in this trade.
    5.
    CHI
    1. Brodin, Jonas
    Additional Details:
This trade just makes way to much sense for everyone

    Borodin signs a 6x6.25 contract
    MIN
    1. Strome, Dylan [RFA Rights]
    6.
    7.
    CHI
    1. Demko, Thatcher
    Additional Details:
This trade I’m not sure where value is but I think he is someone the hawks can value highly as a goalie with starting potential. This trade only happens if they resign Markstrom.

If they do not then the hawks can trade for DiPietro for DeHaan/Cags or a pick
    VAN
    1. Nylander, Alexander
    2. 2021 2nd round pick (NYR)

I feel like a broken record but rangers won't trade either of those pieces for Olli Maatta. We also can't afford him.

The original trade has the hawks retaining 1 mil on matta and adding a 4th. The origonal poster left that out

Hawks decline that Vancouver trade. Would much rather keep nylander and just sign a more proven goalie

Some good ideas here. Don't do the Van trade. Then you still Have Nylander to play 3LW. Put Cagguila to 4th line. Have Puljujärvi play 3RW instead of signing Girgensons. Returns on Smith and Maatta trades are a little off but the ideas are still there.

Kings aren't interested in Dylan Sikura, especially as an offset to a cap dump. We have enough prospects rated equivalent or superior to him that we don't want or need him.

No need for that trade for the kings. Kings have their own guys coming up. Sikura just blocks them
