JP has more value than most posters give credit for. It’s really not even close. Point per game since leaving Edmonton. He’s a terrific skater big body fairly sound defensively. There's no need for this kind of insult. I'm 72, and I'm tempted to say "You're new in life, so you probably wouldn't know how counterproductive gratuitous insults are," but instead I'll just say that being snotty or just snide sets up a barrier to both communication and education on the other side. I've never heard "Gee, thanks for the input, you're right" after verbally pissing on someone's shoes, and given my personality, I have lots of experience with that scenario.

A rebuilding team by definition is trying to fill more than a few slots on both offense and defense. LA wouldn't want to be giving one of those slots to a real take-a-chance guy, and Iafallo is one of our top-6 LWs. Chiasson and Benning probably have the value collectively of a second, but not to the Kings. We'd take Benning for a fourth, but that's about all we'd do for this package.
