Samson Reinhart Trade Offers

Description
I have zero faith in Botterill reaching a long term deal with Reinhart. I imagine he is going to low ball him so he doesnt overpay like he did Skinner.

So what teams would be interested and what are you offering?

Some will tell you he can and some will tell you he's best driving a line from the wing. Every coach he has played for here have refused to play him more than a few games at center so he has never been given a fair shake at it. If we knew he could I think he would have been locked up by now as we desperately need a 2C.

The last time he played center was 17-18 playing with horrible line mates it didn’t work out. He was taking face offs for Eichel after the trade deadline when Eichel was playing through an injury.

A long term deal between 5 or 6 years and between $6.5 to $7 million.

    Ah.

And what would you want for him in a general sense?

Since the start of the 2017-18 season, Reinhart's 165 points are 65th among all NHL forwards — more than Nashville's Filip Forsberg, Vancouver's Bo Horvat, San Jose's Evander Kane and Winnipeg's Nikolaj Ehlers.

Reinhart's 44 goals at 5 on 5 during that span rank 55th — better than Detroit's Dylan Larkin, Vancouver's Brock Boeser, Colorado's Nazem Kadri and the New York Islanders' Mathew Barzal. Over the past two seasons, Reinhart's 115 points rank 57th among NHL forwards.

To be more specific, a 2nd line center, a 2nd line RW, and a top 4 LHD. Also a backup goalie for Ullmark would be great

To comment on trading Reinhart, wouldn't do it unless we get a solid top 6 RW coming back as well as a middle 6 center and a good pick/prospect. If Dallas were the destination, I would say:

    Dallas Stars
    Reinhart

    Buffalo Sabres
    Dellandrea
    Faksa
    Dickinson
    2020 1st

    something like that

This is a rather strange trade for us, especially after Jack said that he was tired of losing already. Faksa can be a good 3C, but no more, I'm not a fan of Dickinson and I'm not sure that he can be a good player in the top 6 in NHL, I like Dellandrea, but he is probably not ready yet.

Damn, playing with Eichel has it's benefits.

Yes, but he didn’t always play with Eichel. In his most productive season, he mostly played Mittelstadt and Sheary.
