If Pionk plays as well as he did this season, the Jets would be happy to give him $6.25. It would be a nice symbol to have your two young, cornerstone defensemen making the same amount of money for the long term.
That's perhaps a little high on Danault probably, but at $7 million between those two wingers, I bet he would exceed that price.
Copp at $3 million is not that much of an overpay, if even at all. He's kind of the Jets' swiss army knife and versatility at not a high cap hit goes a long way. It's not even much of a raise from his current deal, which is a very reasonable one. Can jump up the lineup (not an ideal scenario, but he can hold the fort during an injury, plays PK and is a great third liner)

I hope that D corps in good enough by 2021! Other than a potential drop-off from Wheels due to age, that forward corps is elite. Well done!

Don't get me wrong, if they could get both of those players for $11 million combined, I'd be over the moon.

Kevin hayes signed for 7*7 in Philly
Charlye coyle 5.25 * 6 in Boston
Brayden schene 6.5 * 8 in st Louise
Pageau 5 *6 the islanders

That was last off season, 7 may be a bit high but he's better then coyle or pageau so fives a dream. If he hits free agency be at least 6.5+ depending if he takes another step forward next year
GMs liked this.
