If Evan Bouchard happens to play some games this playoffs and shows really well, then I could see this happening sometime just before/early next season. But without that, we can't have Bear be the only surefire top 4 RHD on the Oil at such a young age heading into next season.

It's an interesting idea for EDM tho. Bear, Bouchard & Honka on the right side is young, maybe high risk but could have payoff while getting a good 3C. Would need to move Russell to make Faksa/Honka contracts work.

Edmonton accepts, seeing that I'm the one that proposed it. It does hinge on Bouchard being NHL ready as well as Benning and Bouchard being able to platoon top-four minutes throughout the season.
