I don’t like the addition of Borowiecki and Pysyk, I also don’t really like the deal with New Jersey, Risto's salary retention and the second round seem superfluous.

The FAs could be anyone I was more or less just filling holes. I did the NJ deal because I like the idea of Gusev playing with Eichel but as Zyyyp said idk if it’s even for them.

I would say close to it, he was our best forward most of last season and on pace for like 55 points playing on one of the worst coached, worst offensive teams in the league in his first year coming over from Russia. If we hire an NHL coach who puts him in the right spots I think he could be a point per game player if not close to it, he's also not that old so re-signing him to a multi year deal makes sense for us. For an extended Gusev I would be expecting a 1st and a legitimate A level prospect at the very least.
