Team: 2020-21 Carolina Hurricanes
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 13, 2020
Published: Jun. 13, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Mostly for fun, but Zadina would be great on the canes.

Add to little germany that's forming in DET. Say they draft stutzle, peterka w canes pick and reichel w their second rounder. And they get a talented prospect in bokk in addition to seider.

Easy decline for Detroit. They have no reason to trade their best F prospect for pieces a win-now team would want.

What?? You’re getting 3 prospects and a 1st. That’s not pieces that a win now team is looking for. Those are pieces that a rebuilding team (Detroit) is looking for.

You forgot to add in Jake bean, Andrei svechnikov and aho.

Detroit not trading one of their best young kids kids for 3 lesser players. Me saying to add in those players are just as ridiculous as your offer. This is the fastest decline in the history of the world.

Zadina is better then every piece coming back, this is a decline, fleury and svechnikov have the same value, so a late first, a goalie that can't beat out 2 scrubs and a prospect that I'd maybe a 3rd liner in 3 years is worth a top 3 forward with 30 goal potential? Don't think so pal

Svech and Aho are both better than anyone Detroit has now or in their system, don't be dumb

This whole Germany fascination with Detroit is weird. I get you want to have Necas - Zadina for their international junior experience but this trade is the definition of quantity for quality. I’m not saying a mid to late first and prospects don’t have value but you’re talking about a guy that was a top 3-5 talent in his draft that was been developing good and is the perfect age for our rebuild. The only pieces that I put some decent worth into is the first and Bokk.

Fluery and Nadeljkovic are both 24 going on 25 and have limited NGL experience, Bokk is 20 years old and has not shown a great offensive style and the 1st round pick is not very high. Gardiner is a cap dump for you so the trade shakes out like this:

Svechnikov for two under achievers

A cap dump, Bokk and a low 1st for the Wings leading young player who has shown some bright spots until he was injured this year.

To me the payment fa ors Carolina and does nothing GB to improve Wings.

The biggest thing is this, Wings are in the middle of a rebuild and trading young players who appear to be able to ppl lay in the NHL for futures like 1st round picks that are lower than where a player like is picked are counter productive to a rebuild.

Fluery and Nadeljkovic maybe what a rebuilding team may look for but not at the cost of Zadina.

I don't agree, Larkin and mantha are the same, if you learn to read what I wrote I'll put it in quotes for you so you can understand English "me adding those players in are as ridiculous as your offer"

If you can learn to read I said "Svech and Aho are both better than anyone Detroit has now or in their system, don't be dumb" and it's factual kid. Don't get snappy cause you overrate Larkin and Mantha
