Tor having Pete would be insane! I’d fully agree but the goalie sitch could kick ya in the ass. I’m sure Campbell could pull it off though!

Ya real interested what the Ducks would pay for nylander. I think it would work out very well for him there. Myself I don’t think ANN should ever trade Rakell, he’s just a Duck for life to me! But comparable to Nylander, I’m very on the fence with Nylanders value, I really don’t think he’s worth as much as I hear from others. But understand he could be worth that much. You won’t know until he plays on a team like this, what if he’s suffocated on the leafs? But he ain’t no marner.

I think that is fair value for Nylander. Marner won’t be able to fetch you as much because of his contract.

Wild keep their 2nd. Maybe some other team takes him for that though?

Thanks! It is wierd how you sign a guy for big money and really can’t trade them for what they are worth unless it is someone similar at the same price. “Weber Subban”. TOR really stuck themselves with those three contracts, we’ll see if it pays off in Cups.

Agree with Wabit here. We'll probably just resign Soucy instead of trade for Dermott. The only scenario I could see for us doing this is if we deal Brodin and fail to sign Soucy. But that's the only scenario. And I'm honestly hoping that we keep both Brodin and Soucy, so then we really don't need Dermott.

Pairings:
Suter-Spurgeon
Brodin-Dumba
Soucy-Hunt/Pateryn

The Matthews & Tavares were okay. It’s just Marner should have gotten in the 8-9 million dollar range for the same term.

Even without Soucy MN has Menell and Belpedio (plays offhanded a lot) ready for the NHL and needing waivers next season.

Biggest problem with that for me is Pietrangelo signing for only 8 million. If he's a FA signing it's over 9.5, maybe 10

I did not know Belpedio played offhand. I assumed they both needed to be RD only. Now that I know that, definitely not trading for Dermott
