I think Buffalo makes that deal with the condition that the pick becomes a little higher if Pilut signs and plays significant games in the nhl this year. So maybe a 2021 6th that become as high as a 2021 4th

Hawks pass. Bowey cleared waivers. If they wanted him they would have just taken him. Slater's been pretty decent for the Hawks.

Puj would have to score 40 for the wings to give a 1st! Svech and a 2nd is already too high imo. Maybe Svech and a conditional 3rd

Perlini and a conditional 3rd maybe. Jp isn't worth it he had 3 years to make Edmonton playing with some really good players. Detroit should steer clear.

Pilut has an NHL out clause so Detroit could sign him this year

Buffalo easily passes. A 6th round pick might as well be nothing. Just giving players away at that point.

Please review first reply. Also, part of the reason it’s a poor return is because Hutton is essentially a cap dump even if Buffalo isn’t in too much of a cap crunch.

That is the point, we don't need Hutton it would clear up cap, and we would get at least something in return for Pilut. This is a good trade coming from a sabres fan

Make it Detroit's 2022 6th with two conditions.

!. if Pilut signs and plays significant games the pick moves (your condition)

2. If he hasn't signed with Detroit by 2022 draft no pick changes hands.

Some pick would have to change hands cannot legally make a trade where one team is not given up a player/picks. I am ok with making it the Sabres swap their 2022 6th for Detroits 2022 7th which would be basically a wash
