nah. Leafs pass.. plus Tavares has a full no movement clause and wouldn't waive anyways

The problem from a Leafs perspective is that this is giving us what we already have a lot of. While Ehlers is better than most of our wingers we already have an abundance of depth on wing, and left defense talking about Heinola, while after our top 2C we get very weak very quickly. Trading from a weakness for strengths isn't going to be a good trade for any team.

While true I dont believe that anyone is thinking about moving Tavares for cap space rather than some of that winger depth.
