he has an NHL opt out clause in his KHL contract so if his rights are moved he can come back and join the sharks. KHL contracts are strange but even so i would advise against doing this

That cant be done. The KHL does not allow international out clauses. Thats why guys like Kaprisov and Sorokin have been in the K so long, they must finish the contract.

You are getting a couple different things mixed up. An NHL out clause is fine with a KHL contract, they just arnt common. Without a clause you cannot leave a KHL team without a buyout and in the KHL the players pay the teams, not the teams the player.

Curran and Lehtonen both got out of KHL contracts this summer (Curran in a very similar situation to Pilut)

I will use your tactics, Sabres fans.

I want Dahlin for Cirelli.

To be honest I don't understand why you're viewing it like a ridiculous offer. It's a better return than an offersheet at 6mil per.

It was based on a Arizona trade where it was Hutton and Miller for Stepan, Raanta and a '21 2nd. The guy then mentioned he valued Montour higher and traded Hjal for a 2nd in 2021. Thus the offer.

Curran played in the SHL, which does allow our clauses . Lehtonen terminated his contract, which is not the same as an out clause and has to be agreed by the team
