Really? As a habs fan, that's not enough from Colorado. Not saying Colorado should do this but MTL definitely shouldn't.

Zadorov is worth ~ a 2nd (Cernak is very similar, if not better, and he could be offersheeted for a 2nd). Then is Zadorov protected in the expansion draft? If so who does MTL lose because of it?

Jost gives MTL what exactly? He has little value.

And then a late 2nd round pick just isn't worth it for MTL. They need high end talent for a guy like Tatar.

Edit:
I also think the habs are doing TB a huge favour here for little reward, if any. Personally don't like either of these moves.

i just dont think Tatar gets you a young forward(just turned 22) that they took mid first round a couple years ago and a top 6 dman, plus a second.
you might get Zadorov and a 2nd or Jost and a 2nd, but I dont see both in the trade plus a second.

plus I dont even want this deal. Tatar is way to consistent of a scorer to give away unless they are going full rebuild.
not many players out there that have scorer damn near 20 in every NHL season he has played.

Im not a huge fan of either trade. MTLs cap space is worth more then what they are getting from Tbay

KK at LW? He’s a C... he lacks speed to be on the W and he will be a good C. For Tatar, the price is Graves + 1st +2nd. We don’t need Jost. We have enough small offensive players on our team already. Plus, jost underachieved since in the NHL
