I still don't see it with Hubes though. Maybe I don't see him enough, but neither guy plays the PK and over the last 3 years...

I wouldnt use hits as a stats when comparing wingers on d, especially when the d zone is the place wingers hit the least

Pastrnak isn't that far when we look at defense here but that's only one analysis.

Ok... He's the worst player on his line, playing with Marchand and Bergeron it's not hard to put up a ton of points, plus he's below average defenseively with those two who are both good defenseively

Marchy is lightyears above Hubes and Kuch, and Pasta has been debated as better than Kuch on a lot of peoples top 5 RW ( i have seen mostly Kane Pasta Kuch, some Pasta Kane Kuch, and obviously some Kane Kuch Pasta, but to call Pasta "noticably worse" is simply wrong

Exactly, Kuch isnt as good defensively as Pasta
Kuch has less hits, less blocks, Far less takeaways (though also less giveaways lol), though they had nearly identical TOI and GP so its not about usage[
