By all accounts, been playing well & improving in MODO. Noted too, as per other ELC-signing comments posted elsewhere recently - all ELCs signings are good signings esp. a 7th-rounder!
To get the contract, he's done the work post-draft to make the organization take notice.
Thumbs up "lil' Bergy'
So long as you're acknowledging your recency bias I think Ive made my point.
So you have no answer and are going to side step the actual question lol. Boston recently has developed McAvoy, Carlo, Lauzon and Grzelcyk. If you want to take out recency though, we'll include Krug as well. This doesn't even into account guys they traded or lost via FA. 5 of 6 Boston Bruins d-men are home grown products lol

True. They're having a marvellous run, but if you take out recency they're not nearly as sound. I'd still rate Nashville, they're just a few years further along than what Boston are right now. With the D core Boston have now do you think they'll keep developing Dmen like they have in the past 4 years they're going to keep going or shift their focus to forwards because they're going to be pretty set? Nashville have done it more consistently for a longer period of time.
Best home grown dcore currently? There's an arguement to be made.
Master's of developing dmen? No way.
Sorry to post this here CF, but it seems I'm locked out of everything for some reason?? I see others posting, yet I can't use my saved teams nor make new ones?!?!? Help!!!!! Lol

Their not set by any means. Chara only has a few years left and Krug could walk at the end of the year. Sweeney a former d-man himself has a big emphasis on d-men and I don't expect that to change anytime soon. The two guys in line to get the nod if/when Chara and Krug are done are Vaak (1st rounder) and Zboril (1st rounder). Boston has drafted 7 d-men in the first two rounds since Sweeney took over. Boston has ton a pretty solid job over the years of developing NHL level d-men of all roles. Other D-men that developed with Boston and had a min of 100 NHL games.
Dougie Hamilton
Adam McQuaid
Matt Hunwick
Mark Stuart
Andrew Alberts
Milan Jurcina
Now were they all stud d-men? no, but it takes a types of d-men in different roles to make an success d-group. I'm a fan of both teams, but Nashville hasn't been able to produce quality d-men in recent years. They've had their share of quality guys they've drafted/developed, but there was a HUGE gap recently. Fabbro looks like he could be a good one, but prior to that their last success d-men drafted and developed was 2009 draft pick Ryan Ellis.
