If you want the Ducks to give up Fowler, it’ll take one of the above

Domi
Gallagher
KK
Drouin
Petry
Price

We value Fowler. He’s one of the best Defensemen in Ducks franchise. We aren’t giving him up for Tatar.

The Blues aren't paying you to take Allen, and we have zero use for useless Lindgren. More like you keep Lindgren and give us the 3rd.

Wouldn't trade any of those players 1 for 1 for Fowler and depending on which one of those Anaheim wanted they would be adding to it.

Tatar with an extension would be more valuable then Fowler, as a rental Anaheim says no,one of those scenarios where the player is more valuable but his contract situation isnt as good as the other player coming back.

Considering you need to move a lot of cap space to sign Pietrangelo this is a good deal for both sides. Lindgren can battle to be your cheap new backup.

Yes, Tatar resigns in this case with the Ducks. The habs get their top LD to play with Weber and Anaheim gets a top line winger. I don't know if Anaheim still makes this trade but it is best case scenario and they are two players with similar value.

No it’s not. Allen has decent value, check his stats this year and you’ll see he’s been fantastic. Montreal doesn’t really make sense for him anyway because he works best as a 1A/1B.

Fowler isnt a top pairing dman though. He is a #3 at best that's over paid on a contract that's to long. Tatar is coming off a career high season while playing on one of the best 5 v 5 lines in hockey.

If Tatar is resigned, Habs are better to keep him, if he stays as a rental trade him for a 1st and a prospect at the deadline. Fowler's just not needed in MTL.

Allen is not a cap dump, he has good value (just maybe not as much to a team with a $10M starter). And Lindgren is utterly useless, we don't need him getting in the way of all our young goalies. The proposed deal is a small scale fleecing.

Stop with the Cam Fowler to Montreal crap, He wont waive to go there he has a 4 team trade list and Montreal isn't on it. And fat chance of Montreal getting the #1 overall pick yeah so not happening.

They still laugh No way is 6 years of Fowler worth 1 year of Tatar you're totally delusional would cost far more then Tatar to get Cam Fowler, And i guess you missed the part of Cam Fowler not wanting to play in Canada. At the time when Marc Bergevin tried to acquire him. It was mentioned by Dreger that Cam Fowler had no desire to play in Montreal long term. And i'm sure it hasn't changed.

he has one year left and anaheim isn't a contender. Why the heck would they trade a quality guy with term for someone they probably won't be able to keep?
