You can wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which gets filled first, Nylander is worth a pile more than Pesce. Hall for Larsson is why you never trade a highly skilled offensive player for a defensive defenceman. They are not equal and the impact they have on the game isn't remotely close.

Well that is the opposite of what was written, which makes a lot of sense coming from you. You do only see what affirms your opinion. Even when someone says the exact opposite of your opinion, you just see your opinion. Definitely no bias. Pesce sucks compared to Nylander. You will never get a huge haul for Pesce if you do, its going to go down as another Hall for Larsson trade.

Disagree, Larsson was never as good as Pesce is, and Hall is WAY better than Nylander. Pesce has a better contract, the need for Toronto is direr, Pesce is younger. The two situations aren't comparable. IT makes it a perfect reason for Carolina to expect Nylander. Carolina will not move him for anything less.

Sure, I won't deny that Hall was better than Nylander is right now when they were traded and Larsson isn't as good as Pesce is now, but the point still holds. You just never trade a highly skilled young player for a low skilled defensive defenceman, the impact they have on the game is not remotely close. Skill and ability just can't be taught, defence can be and the system impacts that more than individual skills. There isn't an offensive system that boosts skill, that is a universally known truth.
