I really don’t understand why all Sabres fans keep thinking Ristolainen has lots of value. He’s a horrible defenceman who’s literally dragged down the results of all his linemates for the last 2 years. Basically a younger version of Jack Johnson. Zero chance you get a piece as good as Roslovic going back.

Since when is Buffalo a legit contender? Hall wants to play on a contender and sorry Buffalo isn't one. And Dylan DeMelo gets closer to 4 x $3.5mill then what you're offering.

I will agree that Ristolainen might not have the best value, but What has Roslovic done for Winnipeg? 67 points in 180 games isn’t great. Ristolainen provides more offense than him.

Not that points are everything, but Risto has more points the last two season then Roslivic playing on a clearly worse team and defense. I don’t think this is crossing the line of insane. Now the guys who ask for Ehlers, I completely agree.

I mean, prime Jack Johnson was able to fetch Jeff Carter, so maybe Risto will be able to fetch you a good player, but ideally he shouldn’t cuz he’s a poor dman. Roslovic had a good season in terms of driving offence & seems to have finally established himself.
