Ho-Sang cleared waivers. He could have been had for free and all 30 teams passed...

you must be pretty out of your mind to think the Oilers would have to add a player to this... Ristolainen is one of the worst dmen in the NHL. Remove Haas from our side and add something from your side.

yes ristolainen sucks, but not all NHL GMs are very smart, and some will just see a big RD who can put up points. admittedly, some of these trades depend on how dumb the GM is. ik they have a different GM now but bad trades happen all the time. Remember Hall for Larsson? its not completely out of the question

Oh I know, and I remember Hall for Larsson and it was bad. Holland is smart and way smarter then Chiarelli.
