I could hate this and complain about it etc, but man, let's just imagine for a second this happens. What a swing for the fences. This trade has steroids.

This is a no from the Sabres, but this is at least the best attempt at an Eichel trade that I’ve seen.

What people need to realize is that Eichel is not available and the Sabres have no reason to trade him. If you’re gonna propose a trade, it has to be BIG. I like the attempt here, the return just isn’t right for a team that doesn’t have to do it and would be crazy if they did.

while i also think this is the fairest trade offer concerning eichel i have seen .. i dont think it benifits or improves either teams chance of becoming heavyweight contenders.. it leaves both teams fringe contenders at best.
