You're gonna have to pay a hell of a lot more than a 6th and a 7th for any team to take Smith.

Take out Howden & the picks going to Dallas, and turn the 1st round pick into a conditional 3rd (becomes a 2nd based on points, goals, games played, playoffs, etc.)

Dallas doesn’t have a need for Howden. They have enough guys down the middle, and depth guys that Howden doesn’t really make much sense for them, and they aren’t going to take him simply to take him.
