Two seconds, Montour cost a 1st and a prospect at one point, Johansson could be flipped for a 2nd come deadline. There's definitely some value there, but I see your point, it does look like more quantity over quality.

If we are trading away Strome I dont want it to be for distant futures (also not sure you could pull off a second for Johansson at the deadline perhaps washington???) It has to make sense for us, and this trade (especially montour) does not fit our immediate needs.

Agree on that. If we trade Strome, it's for an immediate high impact player in the next 12 months at the latest or preferably this coming season (i.e. Brodin).

laugh laugh Neither Holtby or Toffoli are wasting their times on those garbage offers. And Philly laugh Right now Nolan Patrick has health issues with his migraine. So until he's cleared to play that would be a major risk.

Hawks decline. It's not that the value is off, but none of that helps the hawks. Would much rather trade Strome to Minneosta for Brodin
