Top 4 essentially set. With Morrissey - Pesce And Gardiner - Pionk. Can get seattle to take Gardiner in expansion next year allowing heinola or samberg to slot in.

I like the jets trade for both teams. It may create a hole in the Jets top 6. Jets would have to make another move for a 2C to make this work. I’m going to make a thread on this and see how it could work.

This is one of those hockey trades that is good for both teams. Giving up Ehlers would suck, but the package back fills holes the jets need. I might rework the deal for it not to include Gardnier. He's good, but he has a bad back and too many years on his deal for my liking. Maybe take him and Roslovic out? I don't know

Roslovic needs to be in this. My only other option would be to switch Gards with Skjei

Jets trade is fair. If teams want good players back, they gotta give up good players.
I would agree that the Jets would also have to find a 2C elsewhere or the top 6 is not very good.
I'd rather have Gardiner than Skjei, any day of the week
